Position Description:
Serves as an Administrative Support Assistant in the Cargo Helicopter Project Office. Performs a variety of duties associated with data collection, reporting, and analysis. Extensive use of a personal computer and a variety of software is required. Provides assistance to coworkers and leadership in a variety of specialty areas such as travel, training, labor reporting, personnel management, performance management, and security. Assists the Chief and other members of the organization with specialized studies, preparation of products required for briefings, seminars, or customer visits. The incumbent performs a wide variety of tasks (i.e. ATAAPS, DTS (travel), training, filing, appointments, tasker's/suspense's, correspondence (AR 25-50), etc.). Serves as a source of information in providing guidance to managers and other personnel in accomplishment of administrative matters. Draft, review, edit, and conducts version management, of standard operating procedures for the organization pertaining to assigned area. The work requires knowledge and skill to recognize the dimensions of the problems involved, collect the necessary information, establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines. Utilizes data and prepares briefing charts or spreadsheets for a wide variety of activities, i.e., performance planning efforts, training, travel, labor reporting, personnel management, Government Property, or specific projects related to any of the specialty areas for the organization. Participates on various committees and teams as required. Independently prepares products (i.e. correspondence) with minimal guidance from others. Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and for the upper management, manage phone calls and correspondence, support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures, create and update records and databases with data as requested, track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary, submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned, handling external or internal communication or management systems, organizing, arranging and coordinating meetings and assist colleagues whenever necessary with clerical and administrative assistance. Performs other duties as assigned. Excellent written and oral communication skills and knowledge of pertinent DoD policies and procedures. Self-starter, detail oriented and good organizational skills and knowledgeable with all Microsoft office products, DTS and ATAAPS.

Qualifications (Education & Years of Experience):
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience
