Position Description:
- Product Office-level Operations Officer working directly for the Development and Modernization Office's PdM and Deputy to disseminate guidance and manage program operations in accordance with current
directives.
- Provides expertise and assist the functional leads with incoming and outgoing information and taskers as required.
- Coordinate daily with the PM and Deputy to assimilate information from numerous sources and provide recommendations ensuring strategic UHPO / PEO vision&mission, office moral, and calendars are
synchronized, and document update actions are current and relevant.
- Plan, integrate, coordinate strategic communications across various Organizational Teams and Functional Branches - Technical, Logistics and Business, as well as with other internal and external agencies.
- Provide a wide variety of task support in addition to daily functions (travel, training, documentation, appointments, tasker's/suspense's, correspondence, etc...as needed). Serves as a source of information in
providing guidance to workforce / managers and other personnel in sync with O6 PM / DPM objectives.
- Draft, review, edit, and conduct version management of standard operating procedures for the organization pertaining to assigned area. The work requires knowledge and skill to recognize the dimensions
of the problems involved, collect the necessary information, establish the facts, and take action or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidance provided.
- Utilizes data and prepares briefing charts or spreadsheets for a wide variety of activities, i.e., performance planning efforts, training, budget reporting, personnel management, Government Property, or
specific projects related to any of the specialty areas for the organization.
-Work with Acquisitions Systems Manager (ASM) and Project Office Headquarters Staff to synchronize and coordinate all Product Office actions
-Work with ASM, Project Office Headquarters staff and Product Office/Divisional leadership to support tasking and directives
- Update operational chain of command on work activities including risks and issues along with mitigation recommendations. Collaborate with a diverse group of technical and subject matter experts to meet
common goals and objectives. Prepare, facilitate, and support functional integrated product team (IPT) meetings / briefings for senior level review. Assist UHPO ASM collaboratively, assist with high priority
taskers, manage the UHPO Wellness Program for O5 office which is a PEO initiative, ensure daily accountability is complete, develop graphics and materials ISO product office requirements, participate
during (IPT) meetings to take action items and meeting minutes, monitor the status of action items to completion.
- Assist with daily and weekly reports to higher headquarters for PdM / DPdM (Staff Call notes, significant actions reporting, CCIRs, and other daily/weekly reports as required).
- Ensures that work within area of responsibility is complete, meets customer requirements, and is of high quality.
- Issue, review and track taskings for Development and Modernization Product Office
- Develop, write, and staff briefings to officials/groups in the Project/Product Office/Divisions
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Education & Years of Experience):

-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work effectively and well with others
-Skilled in interpersonal and intergovernmental communications
-Ability to create products (e.g., briefings) that are ready for PM/DPM and general officer-level review-Plan, organize, and direct the work of teams or task forces to accept recommendations, changes, or conflicts among team members
-Above average knowledge of Microsoft 365, to include, but not limited to Outlook, Teams, OneNote, Planner, PowerPoint, and Excel
-Outstanding communication, both written and verbal
-Outstanding analytical skills
-Excellent organizational skills
-Strong problem-solving skills

-Active Secret Clearance
-Bachelor's Degree
-CPE Aviation Experience supporting a platform (H-60 preferred but other platform support acceptable)
-Army Acquisition experience
-Knowledge of DoD guidelines, memorandums, regulations
-Extensive Knowledge of ETMS2
-Must have exceptional organizational skills, be detailed oriented and be able to manage a large
volume of data.
